Welcome to NovelCircle (hereinafter referred to as “the Website”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Because NovelCircle provides digital content, including but not limited to online novels, manga, VIP memberships, subscriptions, and virtual currencies (e.g., Coins, Vouchers, Points), all purchases made on our platform are considered digital goods and services.
Please read this Refund and Returns Policy carefully before making any purchases. By completing a purchase on the Website, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
1. General Policy for Digital Goods (No Returns)
Due to the nature of digital software and immediate content delivery, digital products cannot be physically returned, exchanged, or undone once access has been granted. Therefore, all sales of digital goods and services on NovelCircle are strictly final, non-returnable, and non-refundable, except as required by applicable local law or under the specific exceptional circumstances outlined in Section 4.
2. Virtual Currency & Consumables (Coins / Vouchers)
NovelCircle offers virtual currency (such as “Coins” or “Vouchers”) used solely to unlock paid chapters, premium novels, or manga on our platform.

Strictly Non-Refundable: Once virtual currency is successfully credited to your user account, the transaction is irreversible. No refunds will be issued for any unused, partially used, or remaining virtual currencies.

No Cash Value: Virtual currencies are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for fiat currency (cash), and cannot be transferred to other user accounts.

Unlocked Content: Once you use virtual currency to unlock a chapter or a book, that action cannot be undone, and no refunds of virtual currency or fiat currency will be granted.
3. VIP Memberships & Subscriptions
If you purchase a VIP Membership or a recurring Subscription tier (Monthly/Yearly) on NovelCircle, the following rules apply:

Immediate Access: Upon successful payment, your account gains immediate access to the premium benefits, ad-free reading, or locked archives corresponding to your tier. Therefore, current and past billing cycles are non-refundable.

Cancellation at Any Time: You can cancel your subscription renewal at any time through your Account Settings or your payment gateway (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).

Effect of Cancellation: Upon cancellation, you will continue to enjoy your VIP benefits until the end of your current paid billing cycle. Your subscription will not renew, and you will not be charged further. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused portions of a subscription cycle.
4. Exceptional Circumstances (Eligible for Refund)
We only consider refund requests under the following extremely limited circumstances, evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion:

Duplicate Transactions: If our billing system malfunctions and charges you twice or more for the exact same transaction, we will refund the duplicate charge(s).

Technical Nondelivery: If you paid for a product (e.g., a Coin pack or Membership) but the items fail to credit to your account due to a verified server-side technical error, and our technical team cannot resolve the issue within 7 business days, you will be eligible for a refund.

Unauthorized Activity (Fraud): If your payment method was used fraudulently to make unauthorized purchases on our platform, please contact us and your financial institution immediately. Refunds will be processed once fraud is verified in accordance with payment network guidelines.
Note: Any refund request made because you “changed your mind,” “disliked the story plot,” or “accidentally purchased the wrong chapter” will be strictly denied.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
We highly value our readers and encourage you to contact our support team to resolve any billing issues directly.

Account Suspension: If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your credit card company, PayPal, or Stripe without first attempting to resolve the issue with us, or if the dispute is found to be a case of “friendly fraud” (attempting to keep unlocked content while clawing back funds), NovelCircle reserves the right to permanently terminate or freeze your user account and forfeit all remaining virtual assets without notice.
6. How to Request Assistance
If you believe your situation qualifies for an exception under Section 4, please submit a formal request to our billing support team within 7 days of the transaction date.
To expedite your request, please include:
